Q: When are the courses available?
A: The courses begin in January, at Easter and in September but can be available at any time to groups and or individuals.

Q: How much do the courses cost?
A: All the courses are free if you are unemployed. There will be a minimal charge if you are employed to cover materials and accreditation costs.

Q: Are my benefits affected?
A: No. All courses are part time and benefits are not affected.

Q: Can I get help with childcare while I am studying?
A: Yes. The WOMEN'STEC provide an on-site creche or assistance with childcare.

Q: If I have no qualifications can I study at the WOMEN'STEC?
A: Yes as there are no entry level qualifications required for 'Non-traditional' courses. However, basic computer skills may be required for some of the computer courses.

Q: Where can I find more information on 'Non-traditional training?
A: WOMEN'STEC staff are exoerienced and qualified to give you individual career/training advice. Contact us for an appointment.

Q: Why would I want to learn a 'non-traditional' trade?
A: A career in a non-traditional area can offer the opportunity of a well paid fulfilling career. It can offer opportunities to become self-employed, travel the world and 'show the lads how it is done!'

Q: Anxious about returning to learn?
A: DON'T BE!!!! We have a superbly resourced, informed learning environment with one-to-one support available when needed. We also assist with C.V. preparation and interview techniques.
