Chairperson

Bronagh is an independent consultant working in the areas of business and community development. Previously she was Business Development Manager at North City Business Centre where she was responsible for helping over 100 people set up business in North Belfast as well as developing economic empowerment projects within the community. Passionate about helping change she works with organizations and projects that match her core value system.

Prior to being employed at North City, she ran a business called Creative Change where she developed and ran a number of cross community and cross border women's projects helping over 129 women to move forward into full or part time training, education or self employment. A Fulbright scholar she has a first class degree in Textiles and Fashion and is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting and a Trustee of Belfast Print Workshops.

Aodheen O'Donnell

Aodheen O'Donnell

Aodheen is a Lecturer in Communication and Advertising at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. Prior to taking this post, she has worked in Marketing in the private and voluntary sectors and has also worked as a researcher in the university where she currently lectures. As well as an involvement in Marketing and Marketing Communications, she is currently managing a Peace and Reconciliation funded research project focusing on how sectarian difference is managed in the work place. Aodheen joined the Board of Directors of the WOMEN'STEC in 2003.

Catherine McGeady

Catherine McGeady

I've been with CITB for the past 9 years. I hold a BscHons qualification in Occupational Psychology, a postgraduate diploma in Careers Guidance and HA in Marketing. I have been involved with WOMENSTEC for the last 6+ years. Main aims: To promote a career in construction to all potential new entrants including females.

Nora Quigley

Nora Quigley

Nora is employed as WEAVE Project Manager at Intercomm. The project helps women to learn how to make and sell fabric giftware, combining craft and business skills.

Nora has worked for 10 years in North Belfast and initiated economic regeneration, tourism and education projects. She holds a BA honours degree in Business Studies, a post-graduate Henley Certificate in Management.

She is a former participant of the Leaders for Tomorrow Programme, in association with JF Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Nora Baillie

Nora Baillie

Norah has been connected with the WOMEN'STEC from the onset. She is one of the women who went to Millfield TECH and did Bench Joinery and NVQ 1,2 & 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.


Nora has remained as a board member of the WOMEN'STEC as she iscommitted to the ethos of the WOMEN'STEC and fully supports the work that is carried out.

She is also Treasurer of Windsor Women's Centre and has been a board member for the last 12 years.

Debbie Francy

Debbie Francy

Debbie is the Youth Project Coordinator for Women into Politics, and the N.I. Coordinator for the UK Youth Parliament.

In addition to this Debbie volunteers with Mulholland Aftercare Services as a Youth mentor. She has recently completed a Management course through TWN and been accepted onto the Boston College Young Political Leaders programme. Her specific area of interest is in promoting equality for young women and encouraging them to engage in their local communities and public and civic life. Debbie joined the Board of Directors of WOMEN'STEC in early 2007 and is a member of the GirlPower sub-group.

Grainne Creaney

Grainne Creaney

Grainne is a senior press officer in the Executive Information Service, based in the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister. The role involves a combination of external and internal communications planning. Prior to taking this post in 2003, she worked for a leading public relations agency in Northern Ireland.

Maria McEntee

Maria McEntee

Maria joined the WOMEN'STEC in March 2007. She is employed by Intercomm as the WEAVE Programme Manager. The WEAVE Project is a pre-enterprise programme for women. Maria holds a BA Honours Degree in Politics and Sociology from Queens University, Belfast and an Msc in Political Communication and Public Affairs. She has recently completed the ILM First Line Management Certificate & Diploma in Management.
